What got you into hemp?
Cannabis got me into hemp. I moved to Colorado 6 years ago from New York to deepen my connection with the plant, global community, and industry. As my education expanded, I learned more about the industrial properties of cannabis/ hemp and was overwhelmed with hope and passion. Every day I’m learning more about its healing abilities for our bodies and the planet.
How does hemp help those you see around you?
I see a lot of relief around me due to hemp. From my boyfriend,, to my parents, to my teenage cousin... I’m seeing less pain, tension, and inflammation.
What attracted you to regenerative agriculture?
Soil health is what attracted me to regenerative agriculture. As I began to learn more about hemp's ability to clean and rejuvenate soil, I also learned about farming practices that help the soil. Regenerative agriculture is superior when it comes to tending to Earth's land properly, and restoring the damage that has been done, and it goes hand in hand with hemp.
What are some of your favorite uses for CBD and hemp?
I use full-spectrum hemp oil at least every other day to assist my immune system with homeostasis. I also use high doses of full-spectrum hemp oil during my menstrual cycle along with an extra strength topical.
What do you see for the future of hemp and CBD?
I see CBD being approved as a dietary supplement ingredient as well as a food and beverage additive. I see hemp building and construction materials being the big buzz in the industrial hemp world, as well as bioplastics and composites over the next couple of years.
Any advice you'd like to give to our readers?
When looking for hemp/ CBD oil, make sure to look at their lab results. Every legitimate brand provides them. It’s also great to know where the hemp is directly being grown and processed. There are so many amazing brands out there, there is no reason to settle for hemp that isn’t organically grown.
