Their best friendship first began in 2008 when Martha invited Snoop onto The Martha Stewart Show. After igniting many laughs during the segment, it was no more than a year later she invited him back to her show.
Since then, this legendary pair has drawn in much attention from fans as well as other TV show hosts, both only ever having positive things to say about one another.
"I like his laid-back energy," Stewart said on the Today Show last year. "I like his outspokenness. I like his sense of timing."

It wasn't until 2016 when their friendship expanded to co-hosts of a weekly half-hour cooking show on VH1: Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party. According to the Hollywood Reporter, television producer SallyAnn Salsano noticed the chemistry between the two and pitched them the idea for the show.
After three years of being on-air, the show has earned a 100 percent rating on rotten tomatoes and a 2017 Emmy nomination.
Interestingly enough, one thing has become very clear. Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg not only share an incredible friendship and tv persona with each other, they also inspire one another in the business world.
Since he has worked so closely with one of the most celebrated food connoisseurs in the world, Snoop Dogg released his first-ever cookbook, From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg's Kitchen. The book was released in 2018 with a forward written by Stewart.

According to a press release announcing the partnership last year, the collaboration between Martha and Canopy Growth will be "exploring the effectiveness of CBD and other cannabinoids as they relate to improving the lives of both humans and animals."
