SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Anavii Market, an online retailer for premium verified hemp-derived CBD, recently participated in Founder University, a competitive 3-day accelerator in San Francisco, organized by the Silicon Valley internet entrepreneur and angel investor, Jason Calacanis. The 3-day accelerator included elevator pitches to Calacanis and lessons on fundraising for and growing startups.
“It was a great opportunity for entrepreneurs - to learn what investors value, how to perfect the pitch and what we need to look for as we grow,” said Annie Rouse, co-founder of Anavii Market, “It was also really amazing to meet other driven entrepreneurs who have come up with these great ideas that they are trying to implement. Being able to understand their strategies, successes and failures was a one-of a kind opportunity.”
Founder University occurred at the tail-end of a week long business development venture which also included a 2-day retreat in the Smokey Mountains with their Awesome Inc Fellowship the company was awarded earlier this year.
“One of the added benefits to the accelerator was the networking aspect, meeting with other startups in similar stages and situations with the ability to share experiences and insights. We’ll be able to apply these to how we may be able to grow Anavii Market,” said co-founder, Jason Amatucci, “we also made good connections that will help us form strategic relationships down the road.”
Founder University included a competitive selection process for companies attending. The acceptance of Anavii Market continues to showcase the ability of the co-founders to progress their company for the betterment of individuals searching for quality CBD and for the market acceptance of US hemp industry in general.
